If you are adventuresome and comfortable traveling solo, Norwegian Cruise Line does a fantastic job of providing networking exclusive to solo travelers. You can build your own itinerary and be as social and active as you choose. With their freestyle dining program you can dine at leisure in various restaurants throughout the ship; and with the studio lounge exclusive to solo travelers only, you are sure to meet up with other solo travelers.
Norwegian Cruise Line has several ships with studio cabins including the Epic which has 128 studio cabins and the Escape with 82 cabins. When booking directly with NCL you always want to consider what’s important to you before you book! If you are looking for a rock bottom price you can book directly on NCL’s website or on various other cruise sites BUT everything on-board, like dining at specialty restaurants, beverage packages, and shore excursions will be an additional cost. They do run specials on cruises that include your choice of unlimited open bar, 3 day + specialty dining packages, pre-paid service charges, and complimentary Wi-Fi to name a few. If booking a la carte, the 4 meal specialty dining package will cost you an additional $84, the ultimate beverage package $74 per day, and shore excursions vary depending on what you book but can cost between $100 to $300+. You can customize your vacation without having to pay surcharges or single supplements and shop around for the package that offers just what you are looking for!
